I got mine today before donating blood: 98/64. I am 29, male 6' 5" 229 lbs. It is reassuring to have a reading at this level, but I am still going to stick to my weight loss plan until I get down to around 180 lbs.

My blood pressure will reflect the day I have at work. If it is a good day I will run 130/70, if it is a bad day it will run 145/90. If it is a bad week it will go higher.

Has anybody here ever taken their blood pressure two times in a row. I do this sometimes and usually get very different results. My first reading is often borderline high..in the 130s/.upper 80s. Then on the second reading I am more relaxed and it goes down,..106/72 for example. Which one is more accurate or is the truth somewhere inbetween?

Just took mine this morning: 95/60 for the first reading. Since it usually goes down when I take it for a second time, I am skipping that today.

Mine is usually on the "low normal" - like 100-60, or 90-60.
