Hair of the dog.

Or yogurt, if I'm queasy along with the hangover. Mexican food is great if I'm not queasy.

I eat a piece of bread, two motrin and a glass of water before bed. That combined with drinking a glass of water between every couple of drinks. Hydration is key!

Long time ago, in college, I read about a trick to prevent hangovers and it worked every time. Spread honey on a graham cracker, drink 2 glasses of water and take 2 aspirin before going to sleep. I haven't tried it since college but then I don't drink that way any more.

Hangovers are dehydration. A simple and cheap answer is to STOP at two drinks and switch to club soda or some other carbonated beverage.

Yeah, I had a decade or two like that as well.

If you don't get drunk, then you don't have much to offer the thread, huh?

There are a few different types of drinkers... non-drinking teetotalers, normal drinkers (they drink on top of dryers), social drinkers (she's having a drink, social I), moderate drinkers (don't get too many hangovers), hard drinkers (get most of the hangovers because their sufficient reason to stop or moderate becomes operative, but they like to get drunk... so hangover time!), then the real alcoholic. They have a hangover here and there, but are usually more concerned with the mental torture and being baffled about the loss of control... despite their convictions to stop or moderate.
