Is the custom intralase (all laser procedure customized to your eye surface) worth the extra cost vs traditional LASIK? It's twice as much, $5400. If you just have tradtional LASIK are they still telling you you may need a revision years later? My dr said intralase lasts forever (to correct the nearsightedness) and usually results in less night vision problems.
Is all intralase the same? The facility charging $5400 supposedly maps your particular eye surface and customizes the corneal cuts to all your individual bumps and ridges vs. A standardized procedure which would just correct anyones eyes with my same prescription. I'm just not sure the customization is really needed or worth it. Thanks for your info!! I'm def checking the cost at a few other places. Also I am in north jersey outside NYC and everything is more expensive here!
