I was searching around to see if this new health care bill was going to increase my costs or not and found this. Looks like it is the real deal, so I thought I'd share. I know there are other things in the bill, that will effect us all, but I was just looking at monthly health care costs.
This is a post I found on Yahoo. I wasn't trying to get political, since the bill is now law, just looking at costs. Here it is if your interested:

Is it s good deal or not.... that's up to you to decide... but for example sake, I'll use myself... I'm 40 years old make about 50k per year and buy my own health insurance ( ie not employer based )and currently pay $223.00 per month for a plan that seems similar to the silver plan... and under the "silver" plan I would be paying about 300% more for the same coverage

One thing I haven't been able to find and I may have missed it, but what do you pay if you are not working? Do you still get fined? If you get unemployed or just want to take 6 months off?
