Not necessarily, since the Gregorian calendar wasn't even in use at the time "Jesus" was allegedly born.

yep. the person that developed the calender estimated when christ was born. recent evidence places that date anywhere from 4-8 years earlier, but unless we are willing to make massive changes to the current calender, nothing is going to change.

Well if we adjust the calender for the 5 year discrepancy then it is 2015. That means there will be no 2012 and the world wont end after all. Just kidding lol

But on the other hand, by doing so we may create a parallel reality where Biff owns a casino and tries to kill Marty and the doc, and then they make an even worse sequel to the whole thing...
