Yes.
It's a concern.
But hardly a throbbing wound. And nothing particularly new from North Korea. Lots of sabre-rattling, the occasional lashing out which kills, what, four people? (in the case of the recent shelling)
North Korea is good at getting attention. And it desperately wants people like you to believe that the Korean peninsula hangs on the precipice of disaster. But North Korea seems to like... well, existing. So don't count on it actually implementing that disaster any time soon.
Regimes that wants to sow the end of their own existences are few and far between.
Did you not ever notice that despite the fact that North Korea is constantly talking about how the peninsula is on the verge of war, that rivers of blood will flow, that the entire land will be ravaged... this never happens?
There's nothing to stop North Korea from unleashing an enormous barrage of artillery at Seoul. Except, of course, for the fact that Pyongyang seems to prefer not to be bombed and/or invaded.
Did you not ever notice that this deterrence has been working for... oh, the last 57 years?
