Even wanted to find your inner faith? Does ancient writings, myths, legends and fables have a truth that we can't find here on earth? This is all real...evolution isn't the answer to our origins....we wheren't created by chance. Darwin was in fact a racist and a very well atributed person to a theory that some humans quote" are more human than others." This is what created many dis-agreements with Darwins theories. First, intelligent design is around us.......an example is that why are we symmetrical as a species? Why is one side of our body the same as the other? This is why intelligent design is very important to understand. Evolution was about the smartest quote" most handi-capable" survive in the world. I know that is what I reject as well. What if the gods created us and gave us the knowledge to create civilization and to read and write. Just like human history changed so can alien history. Our creator or creators gave us the power to survive in the world and he importantly gave us the knowledge to understand them. I have made myself part of the ancient alien theory which states that our creators had a purpose for creating us. We where chosen all of us to endure till their return. Will they come to save us from our own destruction by ourselves? Is global warming caused by aliens? Are there good and evil aliens? well when they return all these questions will be answered in full clarity and respect. their are many reasons why aliens are interesting. these are a few facts about our alien history:
1) in the dark ages during the black death: many people reported seeing strange lights up in the sky when the virus went into full effect.
2) Christopher Columbus reported seeing UFO's on the road to the new world.
3) Egyptians where obsessed with the skies for that is where the gods came.
4) The mayans could predict solar eclipses even to present day but where they helped?
5) How could humans lift heavy stones with primitive stone tools? How could they create magnificant arts through primitive knowledge?
6) Does the bible when it mentions a firey chariot in the book of ezekial mention a visitation?
7) where we used as slaves to mine for gold?
8) are we most importantly on there planet?

Please add any more ideas and theories that you can partake in this subject........

The Bible has quite a bit to say about the Nephilim, which does give a whole lot of basis to to ancient alien encounters....
Who Were the Nephilim?

I always thought the first signs of civilization came from Mesopotamia (sp?).

I thought Mesopotamia, Egypt and Sumeria were the earliest and all around the same time period.

Dunno about the "ancient alien theorists," but when I read something like this

Dyatlov Pass incident - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

it makes me wonder...

Smile Which civilization came first?

"Our world greatly changes thats true but the earlist written record of civilization dates only too "ancient Sumeria." the first written document is the epic of gilgamesh...." egypt did not come till 5,000 years after sumeria in 2200 B.C babylon did not come till near 2,000 B.c so Sumeria is practically First.......sumeria dates nearly 10,000 B.C

Thumbs up Why humanity has fallen in our time.....

Technology is the basis of survival as always. Yet since the beginning of time our world has become materialistic and choosing this more than choosing the love of the world and only careing about yourself. Many of us have gone astray and have lost our human values. The next generation of the children of mankind have literally fallen. I know that their are many people ask why their children have become spoiled brats and are given the power to retaliate against god and their family. I might sound a little religious in a peculiar way but infact I believe in reason as well as faith. Their isn't a kid in the world that hasn't lied to their family. I know i've lied a couple times as a child. I know that in the time of the ancients people where together for a purpose they helped eachother survive during times of distress. I believe the beginning of a New World Order is aproaching quite fast. I seem to want to tell of how the media is acting. They are teaching immoral and sinister values that are turning america into a modern day "babylon." see I know that people these days have way too many freedoms is this a good thing "yes" can it be bad "yes" see I see the world as if its in a bubble and that it's ready to be popped. so far on earth natural disasters are increasing, people are starving in africa and other third world countries, wars and rumours of wars are occuring. I see these are signs of "their" return a quite monumental return. Something we can put in the history books we can call the new age. I am not welcoming the end of the world because even in the ancient apocalyptic texts it does not mean the end of the world "apocalypse" means to un-veil to open the secrets of our ancient past. See this is a basis I live by, "one day I plan to welcome a little help on earth." Don't any of us want a little help on earth or are we fine the way we are? well I see a huge yet dark future but I also see an interesting one. as humans we must learn from our mistakes yet do we? this is why we must admire our history so that our mistakes may diminish over time. Punishment is a very dark and sinister thing. We must not punish ourselves for our mistakes. Wars where started by mistakes. Some say we lost the vietnam war because we lost more than we could gain...plus the war in the middle east isn't going much better Ronald Reagon actually gave weapons to Iran when he was president. Why give people weapons without knowing the dire consequences? We ourselves have fallen over the past years and intelligence won't save us from what we don't know!~!!!!!!!!!

Sumeria seems too advanced to have just sprung up on it's own, but it doesn't take aliens to cause that. There were probably earlier civilzations that we don't know about (yet); perhaps along coastal areas that were innundated after the last ice age.

I would think the banks of the Nile were near the earliest "civilized" human societies, tens of thousands of years ago. It was millions of years ago in the Great Rift Valley that primates first stood up as a result of a lack of trees to climb and find food. That's somewhere in northeastern/horn area of Africa, and the Nile is the first major delta where you would travel and find a good place to set up shop.

I certainly wouldn't rely on the bible as a source.

There is also evidence that ancient alien theorists do not believe in dividing up text into paragraphs.

Default Absurdity of the poll

I did not vote in the poll because I am not a specialist in ancient history. But I could not help but reflect on the absurdity of polling people on CD about such a question. Historians and archaeologists (the latter using scientific dating methods on various types of artifacts) have come to conclusions about such matters. Unless I am a specialist, or unless I am quoting a specialist, my individual "opinion" doesn't mean a thing. Let's get real. Should we now poll each other about the periodicity of the change of the Earth's orbit from most eliptical to least eliptical?
