Any ideas? How would the world have changed, if at all, in this alternate universe?
In my opinion - probably not at all. Johnson did not change Kennedy's agenda drastically.

I beleive the course of history has a certain consistency that cannot be changed by one man or one single event. Usually it is layers and layers of events from decades and maybe centuries previously that effect events today. Timing may change, outcomes may slightly deviate, but results are the same. Also, there is more of a consistency to US politically then people realize. Vietnam, Watergate (or similiar conspiracy), 9-11, Iraq war...I am convinced all those events would have happened, maybe at different times and subtle changes, no matter who was in office.

Kennedy would not have been re-elected. He would not have the unions to help steal the election from Richard Nixon. Nixon would have defeated him and Vietnam would never have been escalated.

Oh, I think he would have been reelected. He was very very popular; there was such mystique about the whole Camelot thing.
Then, Bobby probably would have run and won and that takes us to 1976. THEN , a Republican (in lieu of Carter) might have gotten in.
