Well, the point is, Africans also are oppressive, racist, capable of genocide, and lots of other nasty things, and Africans are pretty much the only modern humans without Neanderthal admixture. At the same time there are lots of pacifists among Europeans as well.
So I think it is a cultural thing, not some genetic reason...
Since 1492, Europeans and people of European descent have enslaved, wiped out, and oppressed Africans, Asians, and Native Americans. Millions of Native Americans were killed by diseases spread by Columbus and his crew. Europeans enslaved Africans for two centuries and still mistreated them for another century after slavery was abolished. Europe set up colonies in Africa and Asia, controlling their daily lives. They have been responsible for quite a few genocides; the genocide of Native Americans and the Holocaust come to mind. What caused all of this? What causes one group of humans to mistreat other groups of humans for such a long period of time?
It's not about just "mistreatment." As the history showed with time, it was an exercised control, with gave Europeans the upper hand in terms of enrichment, concentration of land/riches in their hands, and even when Europeans left their colonies, they still exercise control over the world with the means of financial system that they've invented ( and still control.)
So everything has sense of purpose; this *mistreatment* was not just a random thing.
don't forget that almost every country in the world came into being through a military conquest. So no guilt here for the conquest of the american indians. Or if I am to feel guilty then the arabs should all feel guilty for conquesring the berbers in north africa and all the other countries that they conquered and wiped out the indgenous people(in many of those countries). But just wait until the chinese get rolling. YOu think that they are going to send doctors into african villages when the people have diarrhia like whites sent doctors in? No way. I think the chinese will eventuallly wipe out the africans and re-populate the african continent with chinese. You think I'm kidding. Just wait.
I thought I closed this thread yesterday, don't know what happened. Anyway, I'm closing it now. The premise is ridiculous and the discussion only consists of people posting stereotypes and others trying to debunk them.
Oppression, slavery etc are all valid topics, but they need to be approached more seriously.
