There's an endless fascination with anything to do with Nazi Germany. Everything from their politics, leadership, weapons, and military campaigns all the way down to their uniforms and insignia. Thousands of books have been written (and continue to be written) about all this.

Politics aside, their scientists and engineers produced innovations that are still being used by militaries today, and their rocket research led, eventually, to the Apollo moon rocket. At the same time, they murdered people by the million and caused untold suffering to many more.

Why all this continues to fascinate people today I'm not exactly sure. The "Thousand Year Reich" only lasted 12 years.
