What's with the obsession with Hitler, Jews, and Blacks. I see a trend here. Is there something linking all of your threads together?

Hitler self-identified as a Christian, on the record, many times. Whether you, or anyone else, wants to play the "No true Scotsman" game now is beside the point.

And what if he was an atheist? Did he kill millions of people b/c he was an atheist? Or because he was megalomanic psychopath?

With Hitler employing both Pagan and occult symbolism and had met and corresponded with Aleister Crowley who was head of Thelema which was a spiritual philosophy or religion that was developed in the early 20th century by Crowley himself.

It is widely known that Hitler and his inner circle developed many rituals that employed Thelema as well as Pagan doctrine in the initiation process of chosen men into the SS.

Because of this fact Hitler could no more have been an atheist than Anton Lavey the head and founder of the church of Satan could have been.

Demonic force cannot exist without the opposite which would be known as God in many religions.

To say that Hitler was an atheist is laughable.

According to John Toland, one of Hitler's best-known biographers, Hitler considered himself "...still a member in good standing of the Church of Rome depite his detestation of its hiearchy ..." There are other quotes by leading Nazi party members that support this view.

One of Hitler's first acts in his rise to power was to neutralize religious opposition by seemingly embracing the tenets of religion. By tongue and deed, he gave the illusion that he was a benefactor to mankind. The Reich Concordat of 1933 with the Vatican was quickly signed, thus he obtained the silence of Germany's Catholic community, and by default, the Protestant as well.

Hitler cleverly ingratiated himself with religious-right of Germany with his support of religious over secular education, encouraged attacks on "decadent art," and promoted "traditional values." His early distorted religious views no doubt fueled his hatred of Jews and as John Toland said, "The extermination, therefore, could be done without a twinge of conscience since he was acting as the avenging hand of God ..."

Actually it does because one of the recurring memes here is that Hitler and the Nazis were examples of homicidal nature of atheism. If Hitler was indeed a theist of some sort that argument would be discredited and the theist can't have that.
