War is murder....accompanied by formalities which serve as the justification.
To all........you are still confusing the deed and the morality of the deed. If I shot you dead because you raped my daughter, that is still me murdering you. If I shot you dead because my country is at war with yours, I have still murdered you. That my country declares my actions legal...does that mean that you are any less murdered? Were my actions legal in your mind? You do take great comfort from this as you die?
War is when lots of people are murdering lots of other people, all in the name of some national goal.
So again....does the nature of the goal alter the nature of the act? Or does it just alter the morality with which we decide to view the act?
