Figured I would ask this as someone here could probably give me a good recommendation. I've always been interested in this story and watched a lot of little tidbits here and there about it, plus some reading on the subject. That said, I'd really like to see a well done, in depth documentary about the Hindenburg.
There was on on tv five or six years back, I think it was called "Hindenburg: Titanic of the Skies". It was 90 minutes and featured a low budget reenactment as it went along, but I recall it as being informative and entertaining.
Okay...looked it up and I have the title correct....but no idea of where you might find it.
There is one short doc, only 4 min or so...shows the footage of the Hindenburg on approach that fateful day and then as fire consumed it....there is an actual radio account and there are several eye witness accounts on tape and one or two from crash survivors.
