Here we go another "What if". I know you guys love these.
So what if in 1937 or 1940 I forget, Alexander von Falkenhausen goes to Hitler and is like; " Hey lets not be too hasty in dropping China. They have a larger population than Japan, and I am pretty sure I can get the Changster, yeh we are that close, to sit down with Emperor Hirohito, and hash out a deal that will benefit all sides". Hitler agrees to this, and tries to bring in Hirohito to meet with Chang Kai Shek. They both agree to peace. Japan will keep Korea, and Manchuria, and they will conquer the rest of Asia together. Of course Chang is just biding his time, and see this as an opportunity to consolidate power, for an eventual ousting of Japan from the mainland entirely, but that is for another thread.
And of course Japan still decides to go bomb Pearl Harbor, and of course FDR decides to ignore the intel, and let Pearl Harbor be pulverized so he will have some propaganda.
So how will the course of WW2 go with these changes?
