As I explained, the Civil War was in a less active phase this month 150 years ago, so there has not been anything major to report. General Rosecrans finally gets the next phase of his offensive against General Bragg started on the 16th and the Federals open up a new phase in their attempts to capture Charleston right after that. I shall report on those events but the next really big deal isn't going to be until mid September and the Battle of Chickamauga.

And whaddya mean "just starting to get good?"
