Someone went to a lot of trouble to put used descent modules, lunar rovers, wheel tracks and footprints in the lunar soil, along with laser reflectors (still in use today) (rercent Chinese, India, Japanese and our own reconissance orhiters that can show details down to a few centimeters) and the Apollo sites are has descibed when the two man Apollo landing crew were there on the Moon. The LRO shows which of our flags is still sanding or has falledn over in the last half century. Also we have about 800 pounds of Moon samples which match in chemical and phsical properties to the half a kilogram brough back by a couple of unmanned robotic missions. Other nations listened to the TV and radio comunications of Apollo crew on the Moon, separate tapes were made in Britain, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Japan, the USSR and Peoples China and amatures in nearly 100 nations were able to as listen in. All knew the transmissions were coming from the Moon and pointed their antennas or dishes at the Moon. Given all this it would have been it would have been easier to actually do the missions than to try to fake it. I beleive they put a Man on the Moon.
