Does Barbados have a history of corrupted rulers on the level of Haiti? I don't think so and if so prove it.

The Creole Pig disaster is a good example of what has happened to Haiti and why.

Agreed. Just look at an aerial view of the island; lush forests on the Dominican side, bare dirt, mud and scrub on the Haitian side. This was not caused by evil whites, it was a ethnic Haitian presidents who allowed the land to be stripped bare. It was the evil whites in the USA which tried to help the Haitians, who seemingly are incapable of helping, or governing themselves.

It's not so good to be a Spanish or French speaking former colony of Spain or France. Barbados has the third highest standard of living in this hemisphere -- after the USA and Canada. It's an English speaking nation with first world culture.
It all depends on the countries politics. Guyana and Belize also British colonies but pretty much in the same condition as Haiti.

It's just people hiding their racism. Even a 4 year old child could clearly see that the 1804 massacre was just fed up slaves attacking their rulers. Plain and simple.

Haitians didn't just wake up and say whites are evil and the fact that whites in Haiti today live better than the blacks is telling.

You're right. They should have been satisfied with being slaves.

I remember that vividly. What arrogance and stupidity among the Americans.

And when we finally decided to do something to help (a few centuries later) it was too late.
We helped them THREE times!

Haitii is a prime example of why people who are incapable of governing themselves, shouldn't.
