No, almost certainly not Alexander's tomb. Probably his mother Olympias or his wife Roxane, both of whom were executed in Amphipolis.

They recently found one of the sphinx's heads.

Interesting. They didn't say they found something valuable like rings etc in it though. Maybe they are still holding that back

The tomb was almost certainly raided long ago. I think we are lucky bones were found.

Amphipolis is slowly giving up its spectacular secrets after all the centuries. How lucky can we get to see the discoveries. Too bad Plutarch and Arrian aren't around so we can talk with them about what Greece has over there in the tomb complex! Time for the 'Alexander' soundtrack on his and Amphipolis' honor. ...;-)...
