What about the Blue Nose on Canadian coins? Was that a sloop?

Well, there's a large contingent of "Sloopy" lovers in Ohio and throughout the 'Buckeye' nation -

and for the linguistically challenged, there's 'Sloop Dog' and Sloopy and the Red Baron

Wonder if Sloopy was born aboard a pirate ship?

It was Snoopy and Red Baron.

And a sloop isn't someone who solves crimes. That's a sleuth.
