Back in the 1800s/early 20th century, was there even a notion/law about a certain age you could drink? Or could (provided you have the money) someone that was like 12/13 or so walk into a saloon/bar/booze establishment and buy beer/liquor? Also, kind of off topic, but if you went into a saloon and wanted milk for example would you be laughed at for something like that?

Pre-Prohibition only a few states had minimum drinking ages.
