I don't see how tricorne hats were comfortable or practical, not when you're running around the woods half the time. I read they came into style in order to show off the new, stylish, powered wigs.
Add the bicorne to the list, like Napolean wore. What's the sense of wearing a hat with a rim if it is turned up?
The women's hair-do they call The Wedge. Or the Hamill cut. Always reminds me of one of those aerodynamic helmets that cyclists wear. Has any women who wasn't gay of at least bi ever worn this? LOL. It just screams "I have a special girlfriend" to me.
I just remembered a questionable fashion from the 80s..parachute paants !! When I was in high school in Virginia I can remember many of the guys in my class were into parachute pants AND cowboy boots. What an odd combo.
