Asking for curiosity. Did in your eyes 2009 feel more like early 00s or today?
I honestly don't notice a big difference between 2009 and 2015. The difference between 2003 and 2009 is pretty modest at first but compared to the last six years it seems huge. 2009 still feels like today for most regards, but 2003 (the same distance) already felt dated by 2009.

Also I was born in late 1998, so I was 10 for the most of 2009. And while some might disagree, personally the age 10 was when I started to feel like an adolescent.

2003 is not really that long ago, not long enough to make a good judgment. The only major changes since then I can see is the smart phone. We all have those crazy newfangled contraptions today, but in 03 we did not. In 03 we had to be content with cell phones that only acted like phones. I have to say when I see posters talking about being born in 1998 I start thinking I might be getting old. Good gosh I have socks in my drawer older than the OP.

2015 isn't even over yet, therefore this isn't a History topic.
