Recently watched HBO's Rome for the first time, and was wondering if when placing a curse on somebody, did the person placing the curse ask all gods to make it so or just a particular god? I was thinking they'd ask Mars, since not only was he the god of war, he was also the god of justice.
Servilia curses Atia by Nemesis, Tycho and Megaera.
And that was a great curse as I recall, full of specifics about all the horrible things Servilla wanted to have happen to Atia. (she also had cursed Caesar in the same way) It was the best cinematic list of terrible fates since Sir Robin's troubadour was listing all the things his master was unafraid of in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail."
