Thank you, dizzybint. My ancestors on all four sides of my family fought in The War of Northern Aggression.. This is a fascinating look--I'd love to see more scenes.

What great pics, thanks. I have in my possession my great great.....grandfather's discharge papers from his service in the Civil War. Amazingly, they look like they were written yesterday. I also have his pay ledger, it didn't survive as well.

Ill ask my friend in Canada if she has any more sites , as she sent it to me... and a wee bit of info..

Between 150,000 and 500,000 Scots are thought to have died during the American Civil War, which lasted from 1861 to 1865.
