As such, there was a lot of fabricated propaganda against her.

I believe she's part of the Black Legend.

Elizabeth I ordered the executions of around 60 people during her reign, mainly tied to plots to overthrow her. I think the number of Protestants executed was less than 10- 5 or 6.

And they weren't executed because they were Protestants - they just happened to be Protestant as well as guilty of some sort of serious crime, I believe.

I know how to use Google, and being an English history buff of sorts, I'm pretty familiar with the history of Tudor-era executions, but the reason I asked is because when someone makes such a claim, I like to see their source. THEIR source.

And I was asking specifically about PROTESTANTS executed under Liz I. Not a list of people in general executed via her orders.

The person I was asking was discussing Protestant executions, specifically at Smithfield.
