This is one of the houses where Stanley Jefferson lived while a boy.. although born in Ulverston. his father ran the Metropole theatre in Glasgow where Stan sold tickets.. His other houses were at Stonelaw road Rutherglen and Craigmillar road in Shawlands Glasgow.. Ive seen all these houses and visited his birthplace in Ulverston too.. which sadly isnt a museum but someones house.. the local cinema has a small museum though with lots of memorabilia..
