Did not Alaric the Visigoth sack Rome in 410?- the first time in nearly a thousand years Rome had been pillaged by a Barbarian tribe since the Celts around 450bce.

Well i don't know about that.....as my interest was only at the beginings (Julius Ceasar and first 100 years) and at the end (last 100 years) as i'm about clueless in the time frames in between those periods i mentioned.
