I realize that after 9/11 we were under pressure to go after someone. But say even after 9/11 we completely refused to get involved with Iraq/Afghanistan in anyway, whether it be militarily, information, etc. we just simply never got involved at all, do you think there would be any negative consequences?

The US simply could NOT get involved unless you want to bring your "what if" scenario back to before the first gulf war. We were involved, the only other option was containment. Look at N. Korea to see how that is working 60 years later - 30,000 US troops on the border forever and still a madman and his pups in charge.

But anyways, ask in about 20 years, things are still playing out. Plus you will just get too many subjective politically motivated responses.

Also - THIS IS A DUPLICATE THREAD/TOPIC:

9/11 being false flag operation to justify already planned invasion included.

If you have something constructive to add to an already silly "what if" discussion, go post it in that thread. (It's usually a good idea to search a forum and see if a topic already exists.)
