This is a excellent historical find. All these pieces in MINT condition and touched by time or war. A lot of these would be been looted and destroyed after the war. I just hope they get into the right hands and can be historically located in museum of some sort. These guys removing them don't really look like they know what they are doing.

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — In a hidden room in a house near Argentina's capital, police believe they have found the biggest collection of Nazi artifacts in the country's history, including a bust relief of Adolf Hitler, magnifying glasses inside elegant boxes with swastikas and even a macabre medical device used to measure head size.

Some 75 objects were found in a collector's home in Beccar, a suburb north of Buenos Aires, and authorities say they suspect they are originals that belonged to high-ranking Nazis in Germany during World War II.

Yeah put in a museum.
Sadly there are so many fakes in the open market regarding Nazi memorabilia that putting it into the open market would just mean it would be gobbled up and intermixed with the fakes, losing both it's value and verified authenticity.

Maybe these are fakes, has anyone authenticated it?

According to the article there were photos of Hitler holding some of the pieces. Including a magnifying glass. Im no expert, but theres a good chance these are real. I am assuming after the war , high-ranking nazi officials brought these to argentina once they fled europe.

Theres even lugers in cases.....

That's cool.

As an example to the fake Nazi market - I have a modest military firearm collection. One of the things I want to add is a K98 Mauser. They aren't really that rare, millions of them issued by Germany before and during the war. Millions captured, refurbished, and continued to be used by militaries after the war Finding a Mauser in good condition that still has the German Eagle and small Nazi Swastika stamp is pretty rare however, most being scrubbed off during the refurbishment or otherwise simply worn off.

But, you guess it - there is some idiot out there that created a stamp and is faking these Nazi insignias on old beat up K98s to increase the value. They've flooded the market to such a degree that only professional can tell the original and the fake and if you see one still on, you almost assume it's a fake.

What makes you think these are fake? Who hides fake artifacts behind a bookcase? For all we know , some of this stuff could have been Adolf Eichmann's when he fled to Argentina

I think it's unlikely a war criminal escaping Germany after the war would be bringing anything incriminating with him.

They could have been shipped there early on before the tide of the war even started to turn in favor of the allies......

When Germans saw that the war was at end, they started to hide dies, machinery, presses used for medals, etc.

Most remained in Germany, but most in Eastern Germany-Sudeten and some ended in Argentina and Canada.
