Shopping List From 1633

Sydney, Australia, September 7, 1990

A 34-year-old thief decided to steal an engine out of an old Bedford dump-truck.
The truck was parked outside of a glass recycling company in Alexandria. It usually takes 3 men to lift an engine block of this size with a hoist. He crawled underneath and began to loosen all the bolts, suddenly the engine block broke free and landed on his face, killing him instantly.
Police determined he had at least one accomplice, judging by the pool of vomit found behind a nearby bush.
The manager said that the truck was about to be scrapped. " If he had come and asked for it, I would have given it to him."
