In the winter of 1944 a Soviet t34 tank shot down a German transport aircraft Caproni.

The tank commander Alexander Fadin saw the plane slowly flying just over telegraph posts. It threw down a big container, turned and began to approach for the second time. The commander knew the distance between telegraph posts - 50 meters. So he calculated the needed deflection and fired by a high-explosive shell. The shell hit the plane motor. The plane broke in the air in two parts and fell to the ground.
