Jtur, you might know this better than me, but in Texas, isn't the town of Colorado City pronounced Cah-luh-RAY-duh or something close to that?

Hyder, Alaska, uses the 250 British Columbia area code, but that's not in the lower 48. I've checked Isle Royale and the Angle Inlet, and apparently, they have USA area codes. There is a little island in Lake Champlain that is in both the US and Canada, but I doubt if there are any land lines on the island. I have a cell phone with a Mexico phone number, here in my house in the USA. Does that count?

There's actually a couple of houses in E. Richford, VT where the reverse is true. Their driveways begin in the US with the houses sitting in Quebec. Very rural back road. The nearby (US) cemetery is also 2/3 in Quebec. It would be impractical for phone and mail service to come out of Canada for these folks. Especially the ones in the cemetery!

Is it in Hawaii? If not, give us a hint---large population, or small?

It's a small population, and it's not in Hawaii.

Elliott County, Kentucky. Carter County, which included most of the present Elliott County, voted Republican in 1864 and 1868. Elliott County was formed in 1869, and as a county, has never voted Republican.

Elliott County has the second highest %age of White residents of any county in the US, after Mitchell County, Iowa (both over 99%). Obama won both of them.

I was surprised that these counties are more White than those sparse Sandhills counties in Nebradka, but those each have a couple of Native Americans.

I am not going to disagree with you, but according to Wikipedia, their answer is Brooks County TX. Brooks County, Texas - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Handbook of Texas Online - BROOKS COUNTY
