Well John, found a near similiar situation, this one in the NEW WORLD, Louisiana of all places.11 mounds of earthen construction several meters high dating back 5000-5400 yrs ago. The mounds might have served a mix of religeous, agriculture or domestic purposes but give indications that they only could have been built with planned engineering. Evidence shows people lived off river fish, ate turkey,, deer, racoon, and other animals. This could have gone under trivia or oddity. Steve

Steve-

The mound builders built similar structures throughout much of the Mississippi and Ohio Valleys and the Great lakes area. Mounds are found in Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, and even Georgia and North Carolina.

Additional hint: The 5500-year old temple complex is located in an island nation that was a strategic area during WWII. The name of a favorite old movie with Humphrey Bogart, Sidney Greenstreet, and Peter Lorre, might be a key to the location.

You have it, Steve! However, the movie I was thinking of was the Maltese Falcon. Malta was overrun so many times it must be an amalgam of many races and peoples. I worked with a gentleman once whose parents emigrated from there. It would be an interesting place to visit. Anyway, your turn.

Actually, simple deduction, Caithness, Scotland only 6 ft 9 in. ( In my opinion does not really constitute a street for what its worth, only a oddity). Steve
