Still think these should have been kept but thats progress or so they tell us... We dont even have a line in one of our museums that people can ride on.... when there is land next to our new Transport Museum on the CLyde where a line could be run along the Clyde for tourists.. Other places have museum tram lines.. why not us....

IDK, erasing that history would be consistent with your ideas about renaming streets and such. The money that paid for them must have come from the same sources, no?

No the trams came later ... nothing to do with the dirty trade.. Trams as far as I know were owned by Glasgow Council... renaming streets of former slavers is completely differerent from saving this sort of public transport in fact I dont know why you brought it up...

Because the accumulation of that wealth then accrued down the generations. You can't dismiss the continuity and remain logically consistent.

Maybe history doesn't need to be revised after all? The industrial revolution couldn't have happened without that wealth. You are advocating preserving fruits of the wealth, but erasing certain triggers that remind you of it.

Do you think slavers names should be left as reminders ..or maybe they should..never thought of it that way... allow the future to know......
