Sorry this took so long folks!
I am a notorious criminal. I was born in Brooklyn New York. I served in the Army during the Vietnam war however saw no action as I was stationed elsewhere. My mother had an affair with my genetic father but named me after her husband. I was adopted and now have a different name. I have two alias', one is known around the world the other not so much.
YES! DAMN you ppl are good. Did I give too much info to begin with? Well any who your it square peg. LOL I even tried to manipulate what words I used to not give it away so easy. Thanks. Stupid google algorithms
I had no actual idea. But that was the first name that popped into my little head. Brooklyn and Vietnam were the two leading clues. Uh, what was his other alias?
I was born near the end of the 19th century. Both of my parents were performers in Barnum & Bailey's Circus. I decided to go into show business as well - my epilepsy be damned. I met the man who would become my performing partner during the depression. We went on to make a number of stage appearances and films together. We also did quite well on radio and, later, tv. During WWII were among the highest paid performers of our day. However after our run of good fortune the IRS was all over me for back taxes and whatnot. Today I have not one, not two, but three stars on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
Well, I'm outta here for the night, so if anyone feels reasonably sure about that one please go ahead and keep the thread rolling. We can always sort things out later...
My family name at birth was German, but I went to high school and university in the USSR. After emigrating to America, I worked as a Hollywood screen writer. My husband had the same name as a famous writer and revolutionary, but that wasn't him. I met him when we both had bit parts in a Cecil B. Demille picture. My radical work, under a pseudonym, is still very well known, and oft-quoted among a non-mainstream political movement.
Bud Abbott is indeed correct. He and Lou Costello have a permanent exhibit in baseball's hall of fame.
For now I'm scratching my head regarding your latest entry, jtur88.

- Who's On First
Which was made all the more poignant when Chin-lung Hu got his first hit for the Dodgers in September, 2007. And sure enough, The great Vin Scully was able to say "Hu's on first."
