I'd bring back Leif Eiriksson to visit Leovigildo, pour myself a Jameson on the rocks, and videotape the proceedings. I would then sell the videotape to the History Channel. After having done all of this, I would then post something on City Data that nobody would care to read.
But that poor buzzard doesn't even knew where he was. Leif didn't drink Jameson, but awful and foul tating mead. After drinking every day such a concoction, he probably thought he was in Hades or the Moon.
You pay too much attention to those scoundrels that preyed upon women and children.

Perhaps bring back the Indians who sold Manhattan to the shrewd Dutch for the equivalent of $24? Could they sue retroactively and demand restitution? Well, at least a casino.
Well for me it would be the original colonizers of the United States who came over in 1607 on three ships i.e. the Susan Constant, Godspeed and Discovery who founded Jamestown. I would love to see the expressions on the faces of the leaders of that expedition i.e. Captain Christopher Newport (Commander), Captain John Smith and Chaplain Robert Hunt etc. as they'd probably be shocked to know that in 2009 (402 years later) the virgin land that they colonized would have over 300 million people and cities as large as the eye can see .

Thomas Edison. I am very curious to see what the world's most prolific inventor would make of all these new-fangled gadgets, and true to his character, what improvements would he make.
