The Baltimore book might be interesting. I was reading about the city recently, about the development of the Fells Point area (was in Baltimore a few days back in the early 1990s and drove around exploring the place...interestring city...)

The could reality is that a lot of mainstream First World culture is 'Jewish': as in sobriety, being humble (lack of maschismo), belief in education, frugality as well as a work ethic.
*Arabs are also Semites despite neither Jews nor Muslims wanting to admit to it.
I have always put it down to envy of a group that is easlily identify by culture or religion ;in this case; by others. its like the rising envy of the asians by so many now. Some how people have to explain why they are not doing as good and blame it some how on another group who are. It even extends to those who are successful in the same demographic group now days. That is called class warfare and is much the same IMO.
So from this post, am I to assume you want all of America to look like Baltimore now looks? A crime ridden mess?

I am not sure where you are going with this; but, non Hispanic Blacks are a diminishing minority here in the USA between low birthrates, higher death rates and more and more biracial people not self identifying as African American.

In all fairness: Irish, Italians and a few other Anglo (non Hispanic White) groups were not counted as 'White' 100 years ago.
I suspect the 'Hispanic' label will soon be disappearing since it is showing signs of being pejorative as of late and most Latinos will simply devolve to be counted as 'White'---------along with light skinned 'Blacks', etc.
There is a growing body of "whiteness" literature. One of the leading academic theoreticians is David R. Roediger, whose books include How Race Survived U.S. History, The Wages of Whiteness and Towards the Abolition of Whiteness. I'm no expert, but there are several academics who have examined the Jewish aspect of this and, I believe, the Irish and Italian.
Where i was born there was 15 protestants schools and only 1 catholic school. the Catholic school got the least grants every year...
The catholic school was so poor that they had to use our swimming pool.
After the catholics got out of the pool, none of us would get in..we was told that the water was infected with germs that would harm us.
