It seems that the metods were very vasilable to allt eh nzazi in the bunkers and there is good testimony on the parenst talikjng about doing it and then being found to have doen it when alone with their children. Isee no more mystery than any other parentalcide case really. Besides few care anymore.

In the movie - Downfall (Der Untergang) - Magda Goebbells is portrayed as dispensing the poison as her children lay sleeping.
I think the film Downfall can be relied upon as a pretty authorative record.
The transcript for the film is based upon a combination of authorative accounts of what happened in the final days in the Fuhrerbunker.
The film transcript is an amalgam of transcripts of manuscripts provided from Soviet archives, of the questioning of Otto Gunsche (Hitler personnel aide), Traudl Junge (Hitlers secretary), as well as personal witness accounts.
Both were present in the bunker when the events portrayed, happened.
