No identifiable body generates speculation, it's quite normal.
However, that Hitler made many enemies would be the understatement of that century.
So unless he finished his existence in a fox hole, Hitler surviving 1945 doesn't seem plausable to me.
History Channel has a special on right now discussing this, speculating that he might not have killed himself 30 Apr 45 and escaped. Thoughts?
I tend to believe the NKVD, which dug up the whole scene and matched the dental records up with the dentist and assistant who did Adolf's and Eva's teeth, and who verified it was their own handiwork. They even prepared a report on the dogs they dug up. To me, the 'Hitler Escaped' notion is one step less deluded than the 'The Real Hess Died in British Captivity' concept.
