I thought I'd be adventurous and since I have a weekend off from my nursing position tomorrow I thought I would cross off a "want to do" off my bucket list tomorrow and go to a "Nude Beach" in New Jersey.
QUESTION: Do people shave, or is it OK to be very neatly groomed ??
Not sure what you will find in New Jersey. Here in CA nude beaches are about 99% men. Neatly groomed is fine. You make your own rules. Go down in a suit and remove if you feel like it, remove only part or all. My wife and I would swim and lay out lakeside, within the hour we would have all kinds of company.
I doubt if there is a general rule, and customs probably vary. There's an extremely popular one attached to a provincial park in Quebec, at which women are very well represented.
As for "dress code", you can probably search google-images, turn off your filter, and find plenty of photos to guide you.
I supose if you are going Au Naturale what difference does it make what your hair looks like.
As for nudist colonies in general? whats the big deal about putting on a bathing suit and going to a regular beach?
I sometimes wonder if these nudist colonies are just an excuse for pedophiles to to get closer to their fantasies.
With all due respect I don't know why anyone would want to go to a nude beach. The last thing I want to see is some saggy old fat man with a beer belly....yuck

Yes usually, but the subject of their desires are not. They would I assume hang out where the kids hang out, not where it's adults only.
