Haulover is the best in the states that I have been to. It a shame Ameica has such hangups that there isnt any more either by a lake or ocean. Haulover to me has the best family nudist beach all others either are guys attempting to see some boobs or Gay men looking for a hookup. If you lay out nude you just count on One guy staring at you and sometimes it not from a distance but right in your sunlight. Bakers Beach is real bad with gawkers.

Back in the 60's and 70's when we went to the beach, being nude was natural. To cover parts of the body with swim suits seemed perverse.

Of course we were aware of the general attitude toward nudity, so we had our own special spots to swim and lay in the sun.

Many of the special spots still exist as "Nude Beaches", but to intentionally seek them out for the express purpose of being nude in public seems in itself a perverse act.

We visited Curacao a few years back. My son (16 at the time) kept wandering off saying he was going for a walk. Knowing my son I knew something was up. I followed him only to find the beach next to ours was clothing optional . I told him he had to tell pop stuff like that .

We've stumbled onto them accidentally.
There was a nudist resort near where we stayed in Dubrovnik, and tops always seem to be optional in Europe.
Every now and then I've taken my top off, but that's it.
On the beach in Greece, my husband took this funny picture of my younger son happily sitting adjacent to this pretty blonde, who just happened to be bare-breasted.

In the summer of 1982, a gal I dated back then, who was from San Diego, her and I drove from San Diego to LA and on the way over there, she wanted to play a joke on me and asked me to pull over and park and check out a "beach". We got out and walked to an area where you can see the beach and I noticed a bunch of people were walking around in the sand without any clothes on! We were standing about 150 yards away, and you didn't have to be very close to figure out they didn't have any clothes on. - She knew it was Black's Beach.

Being the conservative Arizonan that I am, even back then, I looked at her and I told her something stupid like "These people don't have any clothes on!", she looked at me and couldn't stop laughing.

I guess the option of "I was almost led to a nudist beach" wasn't there.

I wouldn't be able to control myself. I'd imagine walking around at attention because of all the sexy ladies. And I'd find the desire to "mate".
I'm guessing everyone just goes on about their business as if they had clothes on?
Do people "mate" in the open for all to watch? lol...I guess I am not educated on the subject.

Can you tell me why you guys or girls are into the nudist thing? I do not disapprove at all... I just do not think that I fully understand the appeal. I suspect the reasons vary from nudist to nudist?
