I try to wrap mine a few at a time, otherwise I get overwhelmed and they start looking worse and worse. I gave up on using ribbons, and I use only a few bows. I'm not about presentation, just about making sure the item is 100% covered. The older I get the less I care if people think it's pretty. Although I am a sucker for cute wrapping paper.

If you hate wrapping, use gift bags.

I don’t mind too much. I do a few at a time, and I use a variety of nice sturdy paper, so it doesn’t tear. I use lots of different ribbons too, so that getting creative with each one sort of spurs me on.

Oh my gosh I love wrapping Christmas presents! I have a whole bunch (like over 30) to do this afternoon & am really looking forward to it! I don't do ribbons, just bows and of course gift tags. For some reason I have this addiction to Christmas wrap. I have like at least 50 rolls (haven't counted them but I would guess around that) and am always looking for more (have not been able to find nice looking green wrapping paper for the last few years; it's such a disappointment).

I think mine turn out pretty good too. Sometimes I mess up and end up cutting a bit too short so I've got to cut a little strip and tack it on, but that doesn't happen too much. Too bad I couldn't wrap your guy's gifts for you--I'd just love to (though I'd also have to have some time for it, which I don't have too much of these days!).

I hate wrapping also. It's takes a lot of time that I could be doing other things. If it were up to me, no one over twelve would have their gift wrapped.
Gift bags are a lot more expensive and many things don't fit in gift bags.

You and me both. Every year, as I wrap gifts, I think I should buy some Christmas fabric and make reusable draw string bags. And then life gets in the way, I forget and here I am wrapping gifts yet again. Maybe I should add "make Christmas bags" to my calendar to be reminded in June!

Exactly!
If you hate it that badly, do not do it!
Problem solved.

I don't hate it. I'm just not very good at it. It always looks like I ripped the paper with my teeth and attached the paper to the package with gum. Not very pretty, lol. Gift bags have been a lifesaver for me

When I was a kid, I used to love wrapping presents. I wanted to be a gift wrap lady in a department store when I grew up. Do they still have that?
