Default Holiday Time Edition!

What did &/or will everyone do on any free days you had on/around Thanksgiving, Christmas, & New Year's?

Thanksgiving:
It rained, but I just went to the movies & that's it. The days before & after, I stayed home in which it rained on 1 or both of those days too.

Christmas Eve & Day:
So far, it's looking like Knott's Berry Farm (an amusement park) on the Eve.
Special church service on the Eve.
That week, maybe a museum or aquarium.
Maybe a movie or two &/or dinner out.

New Year's Eve & Day:
Not completely sure yet, but maybe this Chinese Lantern Festival
Maybe Seaworld (an amusement park) one of these 2 days
Maybe a movie or two &/or dinner out.

Went to an arts & crafts festival of vendors the 1st Friday of Dec.

We took our kids to Knott's Berry farm the day after Thanksgiving this year and we had a blast. It's been four years since we've been. Super fun amusement park.

Let's see the days leading up to Thanksgiving we drove to visit family in California and then spent the days seeing family and friends and eating ourselves silly.

The days leading up to Christmas I'll be baking cookies and watching Christmas movies with my kids.

Christmas Eve we will drive up to Jackson, Wy and meet my brother for dinner at a Chinese restaurant. Afterward we'll go back to his place and open presents. Then we'll drive home and open our family presents.

Christmas day we'll wake up and see what Santa left us. Then we'll eat Ebilskevers and hang out in our jammies. My brother and my friend are coming to have Christmas dinner with us.

The days after Christmas we'll just relax at home. Hubby will work. We'll clean the house because we're going to have a new year's Eve party. We're picking up our friend from the airport on New year's Eve and we're hanging out with him until he leaves again on Friday.

Default Last weekend of 2019?

What's everyone doing on this last weekend of 2019?

Fortunately, I have Sat completely free, which is rare & Sun is very minimal w/ work.

I'm wracking my brain now on where to go. The school kids' Christmas break isn't over plus it's a Sat, so it still will be pretty crowded all over. I really don't know, but I'm not staying at home!

Sun, I may go to brunch at this Mexican place we like.

I hope to get out with my metal detector if the weather is nice.

These days, Fridays (& maybe a Sat a month) are my weekends, so once again, I'm wracking my brain on where to go today...thew weather's good & not raining, so I don't want to waste this day!

About 20 min later, OK, settled on this maritime museum & this mall afterward that I've never been to.

Outside of winter time, I have 6 acre property and chicken farm and grandson.
That keeps me busy 7 to 7 all weekends.
