I collect glass cats and sun wall hangings. Presently I have everything I need to make my own mosaic one when I'm ready to start.

Everywhere I travel, if there is one, I go out of my way to ride one of the few remaining and refurbished Philadelphia Toboggan Company carousels. This is the active part of my hobby of researching circus, carnival and sideshow history.

I'm slowing working my way through a bucket list of making desserts I never had the time, money or equipment to make in my earlier life.

I flower garden, swim and motorcycle in the summer. In the winter I read, mostly nonfiction.

Two hobbies I'm less able to do anymore but still do occasionally are playing the piano and doing Norwegian Hardanger embroidery. My hands don't always want to cooperate.

I can fix anything, cars, electrical, electronics, house, HVAC, plumbing, I can run new wiring where I want it and it will meet code, I built my garage. A man should know how to do these things. No need to fool around with arts & crafts to occupy my hands.

So why does auto and house repair keep you from knitting? If I can do both, you can too, if you try.

Traveling is good fun, but we don't do it often enough to really be called a hobby.

I have my 300,000 piece Lego collection to keep me busy. I've got 4 towers under construction, and I just finished an 87 story an a 90 story condo building.

I also love to garden and I love to see my plants grow every day, and I even talk to them, and shake their hands occasionally.

Ham radio mainly. Home brewing beer. Kayking and hiking. Fishing. No shortage of things to do. Taking the time to go out and enjoy them.
