I'm looking for inexpensive, small, wood airplanes that a 10 year can put together easily without having to read instructions (his knowledge of English is minimal), maybe an online store. Any suggestions?

In that case I would think you could get the lod balsa wood planes where the wings slide in slots, no instructions needed but more of a toy than a model. should be able to get them at a hobby shop or toy shop.

Are you looking for something flyable or?

I believe some craft stores like Michael's have small wooden kits, not flyable but might suit your needs.

Check out this web site. There are some great planes shown. Tell the 10 yr old to look closely at the pictures if they can not read/understand the words.

Yes, flyable but also small enough to fit inside a 6x9 mailer--that's the catch.

Interesting website--I'm emailing to see what they have to fit a small mailer envelope. Thanks!
