I thought I'd post on how hard it is to get tickets for certain teams, because I have thought about attending a few games if I had the time and $ to do so.
This information is current as of this season, 2010-11.
Atlanta, NY Islanders, Colorado, Anaheim, Dallas, Florida, Tampa Bay, Carolina, Edmonton, Calgary, Phoenix, St. Louis - very easy to get.
Los Angeles, Buffalo, Minnesota, Columbus, NY Rangers, New Jersey, Nashville, Ottawa - somewhat easy to get.
Detroit, Vancouver, Chicago, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington, San Jose, Boston - a difficult but not impossible proposition.

San Jose tickets aren't hard to come by on the open market but you will pay a premium for most games. Depends upon who they are playing and what night of the week it is.
I sell a lot of my tickets as do other season ticket holders sitting near me.

Columbus is 28th out of 30 in attendance. I would think they're easy to get, where CAL and EDM or somewhat easy to get, even though they sell out all the time.
