You can't say that. Because every team has to deal with injuries, and the Penguins are NOT the most talented team at every position in the league.

It's much more about matchups between teams than it is about individual talents on each team.

Flyers made out good on both deals if you look at them closely enough.
hmm I think the flyers will need to bond as a team first this season then make a run for the cup next season...they lost alot of their experienced core leaders and the first half of the season will be a learning curve of what type of team they are.

not to say that is bad but it will be a little while into the the season till the find their stride and what type depth they have.

as A vancouver fan all I know is cory schneider would be a good starting goalie who ever picks him up and Christian Ehrhoff he is one hell of a player to have on D.

I am glad we re-signed Kevin bieksa and alberts tho'

would of hated to see bieksa get traded after his post season playoff run. with the depth, leadership and grit he brings to the Canucks I am glad he is we got him for 5 years

chicago and toews will be mad since each Vancouver and chicago actually hate each other and it shows in the playoff with some of the best hockey both team play.

all in all chicago and Vancouver have a great 3 year (going on 4) western conference rivalry going on

It's the only reason the Pens got a cup in 2009 too.

Canes picked up Tomas Kaberle, along with two other former Leafs, and Anthony Stewart.

Washington may get an early first round pick next year, they really got a good deal for Seymeon Varlomov.

We need to resign Shea Weber, and I would like for us to find a little extra depth at forward...hopefully someone who doesn't mind actually shooting the puck towards the net.

When does CenterIce start showing games? Any in the pe-season? I can't remember if in past seasons one had to wait 'til opening night or could catch select exhibition games.
