Yep, they (Sioux) lost a ton of offense to the pros. I can't explain the let-downs on defense. Just a very mentally beaten team right now.

The Sue's are getting worked by the Gophers pretty good today. Hopefully our goaltending holds up in the 3rd period!

Frozen 4 predictions? Anything can happen in a single-elimination hockey tournament but I've got:

BC over gofs 4-2
Union over Ferris 3-2

BC over Union 4-1

I think the winner of BC and gophers should win the title. Where did Union and FS come from...???

I agree. I think BC is the best of the 4, but if Minnesota can get by them, I'd consider them the favorite on Saturday. Union was a number 1 seed (in their region) last year as well, but got beat in the regions. This year they got over the hump. Ferris got a gift when Cornell took out Michigan in the first round. I'd be pretty surprised if they can muster up 2 wins in this field. I believe Minnesota is technically the lowest rated team remaining, but if you followed the WCHA all year, you'd know they were the team to beat out west. It baffles me how after about 40 games, one poor performance against ND dropped them to eighth overall.
