Now that the Kings have bagged the Stanley Cup, that leaves us with the Canucks, Sharks, Coyotes (whose future in AZ is still not secure and may wind up becoming the new Nordiques if the deals there ultimately fail), Wild, Jets, Blues, Predators, Blue Jackets, the present day incarnation of the Senators, Sabres, Capitals and Panthers as the teams without a Stanley Cup Title. Which of these will be the next first time Cup winners? If so, why and how long would it take before it comes into fruition? Now let the discussion begin! Thanks...

I don't know who'll be the next first-time winner, but the San Jose Sharks will win the Cup for the first time around 2036... As a Sharks fan, that's how long I feel it will probably take them to stop blowing their chances in the playoffs. Even better, they'll end up beating the Toronto Maple Leafs in the finals.

The Canucks and Coyotes should return to form next season and challenge in the West for a shot at The Cup.

The Washington Capitals. It could have happened this season but it would have been hard to match the playoff run that the Kings had.

Owner Ted Leonsis is dedicated and I know this is a goal for him.

I'd really like to bring this post back this time next season, LOL. I've been a fan of the team since the 1975-1976 season.

I'd like it to be the Blues.

It should be the Canucks for a variety of reasons...but it won't be.

So, we're left with the Yotes and the Caps having the fewest missing pieces...each missing a single role player; one a prolific scorer and the other a coach.

The Canucks are a cursed team we are under "the Gary Betteman and the CBC HNIC Do not want to see us win the Cup Curse"..when he (Betteman) is gone and the Canucks have a another shot at the Cup maybe we will win it

I was thinking of the "ridiculuously high-paid, untradeable goalie that chokes" curse...but I'll roll with whatever you want to go with
