On Tuesday, March 18th, 2014, the NY Islanders will be playing at home against the Minnesota Wild. In lieu of the bad trades, salary cutting, and overall mismanagement, a Walkout On Wang will be held at some time during the game. See here for details:
I never understood these protest things especially during a game!!
The best way to protest is to not go to games and hit Wang in the wallet. What would Wang care whether people walked out DURING the game?? He's already got their money for the tickets they purchased anyways. Incredibly stupid idea.
Wang's main fault is he has allowed incompetent people to run the team. Garth Snow has been a complete disaster in recent time and this team has no hope unless they get a GM who knows how to draft, can attract free agents, and can pull off some good trades. You can't say Wang is in it for the money. He loses millions every year on this team. Tavares and Okposo are the future of this team. They need to build around them and they also need a goalie. I can't recall the last time they had a decent goalie. And no, a healthy DiPietro doesn't count.

I'm just hoping the team can keep Tavarez around long term. With the stupid personal decisions and Snow' s idiotic comments about the Olympics after Tavarez was hurt, I'm surprised he hasn't asked for a trade yet, and it's only a matter of time until he does.

Sadly, he's probably gone in 2-3 years. Every time they've had good young players(Luongo, Bertuzzi, Palffy, Chara), they've gotten rid of them.
Disgruntled Pittsburgh Pirate baseball fans did this about six years ago.
Did not do a lick of good.
